Albert Joseph Blazin

Albert Joseph “Joe” Blazin, 73, of Somerset, died October 29, 2019 at his residence. Born August 26, 1946, in Elwood City, he is the son of the late Albert and Veda (Ritter) Blazin. Also preceded in death by a brother Atlee Blazin. Survived by his wife, Georgiann (Popernack) Blazin to who he married May 25,1985. Daughter, Lindsay Jo Blazin Memphis, stepchildren: Timothy Custer Jr. and wife Susan (Kovak) of Bedford and Jayson Custer of Abilene, TX. Step grandchildren: Teresa Custer, Abigail Custer, Olivia Custer and Tyler Custer  and Tyler’s ,mother Jennifer Nakich and sister Rudy Nakich.  Also a sister Nanci Lemmon of Beaver Falls. Joe was a member of the First Christian Church, a graduate of California State University and worked for Bedford Somerset MHMR for 37 years. A celebration of Joe’s life will be held Saturday November 16, 2019 at 11 am in the First Christian Church with Reverend Daniel Nicksich officiating. The family will receive friends from 10 am until the time of service. Memorial donations may be made to First Christian Church Mission Programs, 139 E.
