Albert Fred Michelotti, 88, of Somerset, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on July 18, 2018 at In Touch Hospice House. Born May 17, 1930, in Listie, he is the son of the late Leonard M. and Renata M. (Lorenzi) Michelotti. Also preceded in death by brother, Luciano Lorenzi. Survived by his loving wife Donna E. (Fye) Michelotti to whom he was married 52 years. Brother of Aldon and wife Joan Michelotti of Mechanicsburg and sister Virginia Webb of Warren, MI. Brother-in-law Marlin and wife Tommie Lee Fye of Comanche, OK and sister-in-law Helen Fye of Listie. Also survived by 5 nieces and one nephew and Donnas’ 4 nephews and one niece and several great nieces and great nephews and great-great nieces and nephews. Member of St. Paul’s Evangelical Presbyterian Church of Somerset. A 1951 graduate of the former Somerset Township High School, Friedens. Was former assistant circulation manager of Daily American in the 50’s, former employee of Somerset Hospital and retired from the former Somerset State Hospital in December 1995 after 30 years of service. Member of Laurel Highlands Somerset Chapter of PARSE and enjoyed volunteering at his church. He was a avid dog lover and cared for many dogs over the years. He will be missed by his devoted and faithful canine companion, Starr. Family and friends will be received from 2-4 & 6-8 Sunday in the Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home There will be a prayer service at the funeral home on Monday at 1 pm and then proceed to the Forest Lawn Cemetery Chapel, 1530 Frankstown Rd., Johnstown, PA for a funeral service. Pastor Michael Dunlap and Pastor Don Rough officiating. Interment in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Johnstown, PA.
