Barry E. Charlton

Barry E. Charlton, 69, of Lincoln Twp., died November 13, 2018 at In Touch Hospice House. Born October 10, 1949, in Somerset, he is the son of the late Rev. Samuel E. and Betty (Showman) Charlton.  Also preceded in death by his wife, Sharon (Brant) Charlton. Survived by children; Scott Charlton and wife Deborah of Norman, OK, Shannon Charlton and wife Ava of Friedens and Chad Charlton and wife Gail of Stoystown. Grandchildren: Shane, Kayla, Dalton, Laura Lyn, Abigail, Dillion, Cassandra and Katelyn. Brother of Linda Lucas of Boswell, Sherry Baronie of Windber and Timothy Charlton of Friedens.  Barry was a member of the Boswell Church of God, Jenner Rod & Gun Club and the Ferndale Sportsman Club. He was a 1968 graduate of JBJ High School and retired from Bethlehem Steel.  Friends received from  6-8 Friday in the Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home and from 9 to 10 am Saturday where services will immediately follow  with Reverend Randy Brant officiating.  Interment  in Beulah Cemetery.
