Carl M. Lantz

Carl M. Lantz, 82, of Somerset, passed on to be with are Savior and Lord Jesus Christ, August 13,2019 at In Touch Hospice House. Born April10, 1937 in Paint Twp, he is the son of the late Clark and Ruby (King) Lantz. Also preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Virginia “Ginny” Lantz, son-in-law Bill Nair, brothers, Leonard, Jim and Frank and sisters, Zada and Edna. Survived by his wife, Florence (Mostoller) Lantz, children, Carl V. Lantz  and  Donna J. Nair. Grandchildren, Billy and wife Jackie, Wendy, Damian and friend Seth, Bobbie Jo and husband Kevin, Dody and husband Tony and Jimmy. Also 12 great grandchildren and half sisters, Alice May and Virginia. Carl was a member of the Somerset Alliance Church, served in the National Guard, worked for George Thompson Scrap Yard for 10 years and the Somerset Foundry for 33 years from where he retired. Friends will be received from 2-4 & 6-8 Monday in the Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home where services will be held at 10 am Tuesday with Reverend Don Robson officiating.
