Claude T. Krause

Claude T .”Ted” Krause  75, of Friedens, died November 6, 2018 at his residence. Born November 21, 1942, in Baltimore, he is the son of the late Claude T. And Arlene (Gilliland) Krause Sr. Also preceded in death by a son Donald and a sister Nancy Elam. Survived by his wife, Karen (Brant) Krause, son Danny Krause and girlfriend Ritz of Somerset, daughter Jeri and husband Raymond Vague of Tecumseh, OK, step son Daniel Ohler Sr. and girlfriend Penny Shearer of Listie, brother-in-law Carey Brant of Friedens, brother and sister-in-law Eugene and Linda Gontis of Somerset. Also 7 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren and 3 step great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Claude was a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. He loved to hunt and fish and was formerly employed at Bender Implement.  The family would like to thank the Clergy and staff of St. Peter’s Church, Dave Greene, Somerset Home Health Care and In Touch Hospice for their kindness and caring. Friends will be received from 2-4 & 6-8 Friday in the Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home where a wake service will be held at 1:45pm Friday.  A funeral mass will be held at 10 am Saturday in St. Peter’s Catholic Church Monsignor Samuel J. Tomaselli celebrant.
