Hazel Mae Emert

Hazel Mae Emert 100, of Lincoln Twp., went to be with her Lord and her loving husband Donald, to whom she was married   83 years, on December 14, 2017, at her residence.  Born August 15, 1917, in Lincoln twp., she is the daughter of the late Elmer C. and Kathryn (Suter) Moore.  Also preceded in death by a daughter Sara Steinkirchner and a infant daughter. Brothers, Jim, Vern and Elwood and sisters, Elizabeth, Becky, Althea, Ruth and Estella  and a granddaughter Tracy Bittner.  Survived by daughters,  Nancy Ash and husband Donald   and Margie Bittner and husband Ronald.  Sister of Florence Smith of  Florida  Also 9 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 12 great great grandchildren.  Hazel loved making Sunday dinner for family and loved watching the Pittsburgh Pirates. She previously worked for Lytles, Somerset Taxi and the Sewing Factory.  There are 2 sets of five generation grandchildren in the family.  A special thanks to In Touch Hospice,  Emmie, Debbie, Rachelle and Flo. Friends will be received from 2-4 & 6-8 Saturday in the Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home where services will be held at 2 pm Sunday with Reverend Barry K.
