Linda Mae BEAL

Linda Mae Beal, 72, of Somerset, died November 8, 2017 at Somerset Hospital. Born July 28, 1945, in Somerset, she is the daughter of the late James and Rena (Jenkins) Beal. Also preceded in death by a brother, William Beal and wife Lois, sister, Carol Nightingale and husband William, Sister-In-Law, Ruth Beal , Brother-In-Law, Edward Atchison   and an infant sister, Judy Beal.  Survived by brothers and sister: Clarence “Jerry” Beal of Somerset, Ronald Beal of  Dillsburg, Donna Atchison of Somerset and James Beal and wife Carol of Somerset.  Also a number of nieces and nephews.  Linda was a member of the First Christian Church, a 1963 graduate of Somerset High School and was formerly employed as a waitress at The Jolly  Roger and Penn Traffic and retired as a custodian at Somerset High School.  She  loved her family, watching hockey and playing bingo.  She was loved by all and will be greatly missed.  Friends will be received from 2 pm Sunday until the time of service at 4 pm in the Robert H. Halverson funeral Home, Reverend Chase Hill officiating.  Interment in Friedens Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the First Christian church 139 E.
