Ronald F. Hunter

Ronald F. Hunter, 90, of Berlin, died July 15, 2019 at his residence. Born September 21, 1928, in Pasadena, CA, he is the son of the late Joseph and Margaret (Bome) Hunter. Also preceded in death by a brother Richard. Survived by his wife Elsie (Tunstall) Hunter, sons, Ronald and Kevin. Stepchildren: Warren Rugg and wife Joanne of Somerset, Michael Rugg of Hooversville, Ronda Elesquez of Murrysville and Charles Rugg and wife Penny Of Latrobe.  12 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Brother of: James Hunter and wife Rena of TN., Nadine Minor of Fl. and Geraldine of Fl.  Also several nieces and nephews and his dog Max and cat Candy. Ronald was a member of the American Legion, Life Member of the VFW and a Marine veteran.  He retired as Safety Manager at Somerset State Hospital and was a Deputy Game Warden in Washington County. Friends will be received from 2-4 & 6-8 Wednesday in the Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home where services will be held at 11 am Thursday with Reverend Don Robson officiating.
