Anna Armeda Messenger

Anna Armeda Messenger 98, of Somerset, died March13, 2025 at Patriot Village. Born August 24, 1926 in Terra Alta, WV. She is the daughter of the late Charles and Ruhama (Davis) Knupp. Also preceded in death by her husband Donald, daughter Brenda, granddaughter Amy Messenger, 2 brothers, and daughter in law Holly. Survived by son David Messenger of SC and son-in-law Richard Kovack of Somerset and a grandchild Tyrell Messenger. Anna was a member of the St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church. She was employed as a clerk at Edgewood Market for many years. Friends will be received from 2-4 & 6-8 Friday in the Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home where services will be held at 10:30 Saturday with Reverend Mike Dunlap officiating. Interment in St. John’s Cemetery. Condolences may be made at www.halversonfuneralhome.com.
