Anola M. (Shroyer) Mitchell 91of Berlin has made her journey home October 18, 2024. Born March 1, 1933 in Black Twp she is the daughter of the late Ben and Darlie (Hostetler) Shroyer. She is also preceded in death by her husband George F. Mitchell, son George F. Mitchell Jr., grandson Timothy Knopsnyder and great great granddaughter Addalynn Makay, new born, sister Ada Lepley, half sisters Vera and Marie, brothers Harrison and Leroy Shroyer and half brothers Jesse, Daniel and Charles. She is survived by her daughter Betty (Mitchell) Knopsnyder, grandkids, Barbara Nemchik and boyfriend Timothy Hutchens, Leroy Knopsnyder, Tonia (Daniel) Delancy, and Tina (Jason) Rock. Great grandkids Joshua and Justin Nemchik, Blaine Knopsnyder, Shawna (Damian) Jano, Gwendolyn (Andrew) Makay, Randy Delancy, and Austin and Dakota Rock. Great-great grandkids Raiden and Ledger Jano and Drew and Madalyn. Sisters Darlie (James) Romesberg, Alice Purbugh and friend Harry Fitzpatrick and sister-in-law Barbara Shroyer and numerous nieces and nephews. Anola worked at Ratsy’s Restaurant , Specht’s Plastic and American Baseball Cap. She was a member of the Beachdale Church of the Brethren. After retiring Anola enjoyed spending time with her grandkids, great grandkids and great great grandkids, they were her life. Family and close friends will be received from 11 – 1 Tuesday in the Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home where services will immediately follow with Pastor Joe Brown officiating.
