Arlene Grace Sterner

Arlene Grace Sterner 86, of Rockwood, died June 26, 2021 at The Patriot. Born October 16, 1934 in Meyersdale, she is the daughter of the late Peter and Mayme (Klineaman) Baer. Also preceded in death by her husband Ray V. Sterner, grandson Scott Bruner, 3 brothers 4 sisters and 2 half sisters. Survived by children: Gloria Johnston of Berlin, Paul Sterner and wife Brenda of Berlin, Connie Shaffer of Somerset and Lorrie Bruner and husband Randy of Somerset. Also 8 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and a sister Ruth Barney of Hopwood. Arlene was a member of the Christ United Methodist Church of Rockwood and former employee of the  coat factory in New Centerville. Friends will be received from 2-4 & 6-8 Tuesday in the ROBERT H. HALVERSON FUNERAL HOME and from 10 to 11 am Wednesday in the Christ United Methodist Church, Rockwood where services will immediately follow with the Reverend Doug Burns officiating.
