Barry L. Bennett

Barry L. Bennett, 76, of Somerset, died September 16, 2022 at his residence. Born August 17, 1946 in Cumberland, he is the son of the late Luke and Mary (Tressler) Bennett. Also preceded in death by a brother Kim. Survived by his wife Barbara (Ansell) Bennett, children; Lori Olivarez and husband Eric of Monclair, VA and Justin Bennett and wife Kendra of Johnstown. Grandchildren; Aden and Isabella Olivarez and Jackson Ferguson. Also a sister Cynthia Bennett of Meyersdale. Barry was a member of the Somerset Alliance church, a Army Vietnam Veteran and owner of Bennett TV Sales in New Centerville. He also served the Lord in the Berlin and Somerset Alliance Church’s and served on the New Centerville Boro Counsel for 17 years.  Friends will be received from 2-4 & 6-8 Monday in the Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home where services will be held at 11 am Tuesday with Reverend Scott Ream officiating. Interment in Wesley Chapel Cemetery.
