Betty Jane St. Clair, 83 of Boswell, died April 7, 2020 at Meadow View Nursing Center. Born July 17, 1936, in Bakersville, she is the daughter of the late Charles and Evelyn (Burket) Ash. Aslo preceded in death by husband, Dwight O. St. Clair, daughter, Linda, brother Donald Ash and sisters, Ruth Peterson and Janet Walker. Survived by daughters,Patty Sechler and husband Don of Somerset, Donna Lape of Jennerstown,Gloria Stevanus and husband Jesse of Rockwood and Alice Smith and husband Robert of Windber. Grancildren:Kristopher Matthews and wife Fangzhou, Laurel Ross and husband Andrew,Benjamin Lape and friend Karen Ellison, Corey Lape and wife Hali, Melinda Weishner and husband Tim, Joseph Stevanus and wife Kate, Brian Stevanua and wife Amanda, Jordan Stevanus and friend Claudia, Michael Smith and Samantha Hull and husband Shane. Great grandchildren: Margaret, Eli, Beck, Anna, Mason, Isaac, Elliott, Bentley, Austin, Zander, Peyton, Olivia, Josh, Kaylie, Jadelynn and Paisley. Sister of Wilma Stahl of Bakersville and James Ash of Somerset. Memberof Mt. Laurel United Church of Christ. A private graveside service will be held at Beams Cemetery with Reverend James Stobaugh officiating. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
