Beverly J Benford

Beverly J. Benford, previously of Somerset PA and Winchester, VA passed away March 13, 2025 at Laurel View Village, Davidsville, PA. Born April 25,1931 in Johnstown, PA, she is the daughter of Charles and Hilda (Grening) Duncan. Beverly is preceded in death by husband Arnold (Ben), sister Peggy Ondick and son in law Lon Eric Schrock. Survived by son Mark (Benna) of Beaufort, SC, daughter Beth Schrock of Friedens, PA, son David (Karen) of Minnescott Beach, NC. Grandchildren Erin (Ryan) Oman, Chad (Conner) Benford, Jeremy (Devin) Schrock, Jessica (Warren) Wright, Jackie (Yazhin) Moreno and 6 great grandchildren Drew and Ben Oman, Jordan Schrock, Caden and Evie Wright, Malachi Moreno and a sister Faye Lear of Johnstown. Beverly worked at Somerset Area School District for many years as a paraprofessional and Library aid. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. A heartfelt thanks to the wonderful staff at Laurel View Village and the caring staff of Windber Hospice. Interment will be at Friedens Lutheran Church Cemetery, Friedens, PA with Pastor Ruth Jensen.
