David Lane Kelly

David Lane Kelly, 62 of Rockwood, went to be with the Lord and Savior May 22, 2021. Born December 28, 1958 to the late Fred and Florence “Dolly” (Mitchell) Kelly. He is also preceded in death by brother Charles Kelly. David is survived by his wife Jodie (Yoder) Kelly, daughters Rebecca, Karen (Kelly) Ross and husband Kenneth Ross Jr. and Ginny Kelly and fiancé Scott Trimpey. Grandchildren, Ethan and Aliyah Ross and Autumn and Hunter Trimpey. Also survived by brothers and sisters Carol Long and husband Ken of Somerset, Fred Kelly and wife Ilene of Shanksville, Sharon Engleka and husband Nate of Garrett, Steve Kelly and wife Deanna of Garrett, Barry Kelly and wife Roberta of Holsopple and Mark Kelly and wife Sue of Rodckwood and numerous nieces and nephews. David was chairman of the board and Sunday school teacher at Abundant Life Christian Center. He loved playing his guitar and spending time with his grandkids, daughters and wife. He enjoyed going to the Garrett Sportsman’s Club to help out and spend time with his friends Ed Decker and Frank Lee. He loved to farm and make hay with his son-in-law Ken Ross Jr. and Grandson Ethan Ross in his life long best friends wife’s Carol Fogle fields. Friends will be received from 2-4 & 6-8 Tuesday in the Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home where services will be held at 11 am Wednesday with Reverend Samuel Coughenour officiating.
