Dolores Jean (Faidley) Resh, 91, of Somerset, passed away on Sunday May 31, 2026 at UPMC Somerset. Born on September 9, 1934 in Gray, Pa to John H. and Gladys (Pugh) Faidley. Proceeded in death by parents, husband Kenneth E. Resh on September 3, 2009, and sister-in-law Carol. She is survived by sons Timothy (Janet) and David (Della), grandchildren Darah, John (Adriel), Carlee (partner John), Ashlee (Ben), great grandchildren Annabelle Wyatt, Jake, Kylee, Hayven, Gage, Benjamin, and Tripp, brother Ray, and bonus grandson Dustin. Dolores was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church where she sang in the choir and was active in many groups in the church. She graduated from Somerset High School in 1952. She was an employee of JJ Newberry Co., Appalachia Intermediate Unit 8 with 30 years of service. And a RSVP volunteer for 15 years. She was also an Antique Dealer. Dolores enjoyed reading, music, and communicating with pen pal Sylvia in England for more than 80 years. In retirement, she enjoyed traveling in the US and England with husband, cousins, friends, and pen pal. She will be greatly missed by family and friends. Friends will be received Saturday from 11am-2pm at the Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home where services will immediately follow with the Pastor Justin Judy. Private Interment will take place at St. John’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions to Grace United Methodist Church 320 Felgar Rd. Somerset, Pa 15501 or Sam Van, same address.
