Donald Gene Harkcom

Donald Gene Harkcom, 77, of Listie, died March 15, 2019 at UPMC Somerset. Born January 17, 1942, in Windber, he is the son of the late Harold and Estella (Harvey) Harkcom.  Also preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth and a sister, Elsie Davis. Survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Shari (Magnetto) Harkcom, children; Christine Ann Harkcon of Listie, Tammy Sue Talley of Casselberry, FL and Joseph Donald Harkcom of Rockwood. Grandchildren; Bree Elizabeth, Shannon Grace and Lindsay Bea.  Brother of  Betty Carlson, Catherine Kosnosky, Robert Harkcom and Ronald Harkcom. Donald worked for US Steel for 15 years. He was a member of United Steel Workers and former member of the Listie Volunteer Fire Department. He was an avid fisherman and turkey hunter and will be missed by his family and his special daughter and fishing partner Chrissie. As per Don’s request, there will be no service.
