Donna E. Atchison

Donna Atchison, 79, of Friedens, died March 26, 2019 at In Touch Hospice House. Born June 21, 1939 in Berlin, she is the daughter of the late James and Rena (Jenkins) Beal. Also preceded in death by her husband Edward M. Atchison, sisters Linda Beal , Carol Nightingale and an infant sister Judy and a brother, William Beal. Survived by daughters, Karen Costea and husband Mike and Kristie Rigo and husband George  both of Friedens. Grandchildren, Jared Rigo, Sarah Rouch and husband Matt, Brantley Rigo, Matthew Costea, Neha Rigo and Mallory Rigo. Great grandchildren, Eli and Jeremiah and a special niece, Linda Conn.  Sister of Clarence “Jerry” Beal of Somerset, Ronald Beal of Dillsburg and James Beal and wife Carol of Somerset.  Donna was a member of the First Christian Church and was formerly employed at Somerset Pajama Factory, Coleman Company, Riverside Bakery and  a retired  employee of the State of PA. Donna loved her family and Jesus. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother. The family would like to thank the In Touch Hospice  staff for their thoughtfulness and kindness. Friends will be received from  2 to 3 pm Saturday  in the First Christian Church where a celebration of Donnas  life will immediately follow with Reverend Chase Hill officiating. Interment in St. John’s Cemetery will be private. Arrangements under the direction of the Robert H.
