Dorothy L. Rogers 93, of Somerset, entered her eternal home on July 24, 2022 at Siemon’s Lakeview Nursing Center. Born August 26, 1928 in Coraopolis, she is the daughter of the late Edward and Julia (Grafton) Creese. Also preceded in death by her husband Manuel J. Rogers, children Jon Rogers and Georgia Landis, great grandchildren Anthony Sipe, Ariel Rogers and Ian Scott Jr. and these brother and sisters: Edward Creese Jr., Betty Olson, Eleanor Openreder and Murna Obusek. Survived by children: Glen E. Rogers of Somerset, Cheryl Hollingshead and husband George of Somerset, James Rogers of Somerset and Anna Hay and husband Terry of Rockwood. Also 17 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and 4 great grandchioldren. Sister of: John “Jack” Creese of Grofton, PA and Murial Hamelton. She was the Monarch of our family. Beloved mother and grandmother who loved unconditionally. She even loved her children and grandchildren’s friends. She loved her nieces and nephews as well as their families as her own. She lived every day loving all those she came in contact with. She will be sadly missed by many but we say not good bye but "See Ya Later Alligator". We would like to greatly express our thanks to the wonderful staff at Siemon’s Nursing Home who cared and loved our precious mother. We would also like to thank Heartlalnd Hospice for the wonderful care they provided in her extended need of care. And thank you to all of those who loved her as we did. She will be sadly missed by many. Dorothy attended the Milford United Methodist Church. Friends will be received from 2-4 & 6-8 Wednesday and from 10 to 11am Thursday n the ROBERT H. HALVERSON FUNERAL HOME where services will immediately follow with Reverend Doug Burns officiating. Interment in Casebeer Cemetery. Contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice, 1590 N.
