Douglas Scott Griffith Sr., of Somerset, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday December 17, 2025 at home. Born April 25, 1960 in Somerset. Son of Thomas and Helen Griffith. Proceeded in death by his parents, brothers Randy and Dean Griffith. Survived by his wife of 47 years Rosemary (Tunstall) Griffith, sister Carlene Pugh, sister Linda Mostoller, brother Donald Griffith, sister Sherrie Griffith, and sister Kathy Miller. Children Stephanie Fazenbaker, married to John Fazenbaker, Douglas Griffith Jr. married to Lauralee Griffith, grandchildren Britney Hay married to Alexander Hay, Kimberly Griffith, Jordan Fazenbaker, Madison Griffith, Katilyn Fazenbaker, Alyise Griffith, Jackson Griffith, Isaac Griffith, and Izzy Griffith, special friends Scott Guthrie and Dan Gibaski. Douglas worked construction and enjoyed mowing for the Somerset Country Club. Douglas enjoyed hunting, and loved his beagle dogs Molly and Maggie. He loved hunting with his cousin Larry and friend Mike. He played in numerous gospel bands, most recently Glory Guys. He attended the Assembly of God in Kantner. Friends will be received Saturday from 9-12 in the Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home with services to immediately follow with Pastor James Powell and Pastor Randy McKenzie. Internment will be at St. John’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Kantner Assembly of God. Arrangements under the direction of the Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home.
