Edgar Richard Garland

Edgar Richard Garland Jr.,80 of Conneaut, OH, formerly of Somerset, died May 31, 2025. Born December 22, 1944 in Lewistown, Maine he is the son of the late Edgar R. Garland Sr. and Reba C. (Haynes) Garland. Also preceded in death by grandson Brandon and brothers Michael Stachel, William “Bill” Stachel and Ernest Wayne Garland. Survived by his wife Phyllis (Miller) Garland, children, Eric (Trudy) Garland and Steven (Denise) Garland, step-children, Melinda (George Lumpp) Fisher, Scott (Cindy) Bacon and Brian (Sarah Beth) Bacon. Brothers and sisters, Randy (Mary) Stachel, Russ (Donna) Stachel, Edna Louise (Ronnie) Karla and Carla (Geroge) Rugg. Grandchildren, Brittney (Larry) Brevitz, Madison Garland, Evan Garland, Joshua Fisher, Sarah Brenna, Scott Bacon, Steven Bacon and Amber Bacon and 12 great grandchildren. Edgar was a member of the Pentecostal Community Church and the Conneaut Moose Lodge. He enjoyed fishing, bee keeping, working at Conneaut Lake, Erie and sitting around a campfire with family and friends. He retired from Leiss Tool & Die after 30 years of service and was a US Army veteran. Friends will be received from 12pm-2pm Friday in the Robert H.
