Elby B. Walker

Elby B. Walker 93, of Stonycreek Twp., died December 8, 2023 at The Patriot. Born March 7, 1930 in Stonycreek Twp., he is the son of the late Perry and Theresa (Miller) Walker. Also preceded in death by his first wife Leona, children, Donna Lee, Mark and an infant son, brothers and sisters, Clarence, Dorothy Dougherty, Robert, Herbert, Fredrick, Mabel Revello, Calvin and Ruth Williams. Survived by step children Susie Grady and Troy Meissner both of Colorado, siblings, Janet Anderson, Richard and Donald Walker and numerous nieces and nephews. Elby was a member of the Faith Lutheran Church a graduate of Shanksville High School and Penn State. He was an Air Force veteran and worked for Lockheed Martin as a mechanic where he traveled to Thailand, Kuwait, Sudan, Morocco, and Saudia Arabia. Friends will be received from 2-4 & 6-8 PM Wednesday in the ROBERT H. HALVERSON FUNERAL HOME. Services will be held Thursday at 11 AM in the Faith Lutheran Church with Pastor Kathleen Stump officiating.  Interment in Wills Cemetery. Condolences may be made at www.halversonfuneralhome.com
