Freeman J. Vought 82, of Milford Twp, died March 15, 2024 at his residence. Born October 3, 1941, in Black Twp., he is the son of the late Harry and Grace (Hostetler) Vought. Also preceded in death by his step-father Joe Hemminger and 4 brothers and 4 sisters. Survived by his wife, the former Mary Heining, children: Dean Vought of Pittsburgh, Allen Vought and wife Lisa of Rockwood and Sally Mize and husband Bill of Rockwood. Also 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Freeman was a member of the Rockwood American Legion, the Eagles and Jenner Rod & Gun Club. He retired from Gilmour Manufacturing. Friends will be received from 12 noon – 2 and 4 -6 Saturday in the Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home where services will immediately follow with Reverend James Kaslar officiating.
