Gail (Lichty) Custer 35, of Somerset passed away November 6, 2021 at UPMC Altoona after a long battle with Covid. Born August 17, 1986, in Somerset, she is the daughter of Charles and Susan (Griffith) Lichty of Rockwood. She is proceeded in death by her paternal grandparents Charles and Iva Lichty and uncle Terry Griffith. Besides her parents, she is survived by her sisters: Emily Brick and husband Samuel of Somerset and Lisa Lichty of Pittsburgh. Grandparents David and Marjory Griffith of Somerset, aunts and uncles David Griffith and wife Cindy of Berlin, James Griffith and wife Marcy of Montana and Marsha Lichty of Somerset and a nephew Maxwell Brick. Gail was a member of the Rockwood Church of the Brethren and a 2005 graduate of Rockwood High School. Gail loved being outdoors and everything involving music. She loved her 2 cats and helping others. Gail will be remembered for being spontaneous, empathetic and for being her sisters’ protector. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 Thursday in the ROBERT H. HALVERSON FUNERAL HOME where a memorial service will be held at 10:30 am Friday with Reverend Tom Johnson officiating.
