Geraldine Jean Ansell

Geraldine Jean Ansell 76 of Somerset passed away October 20, 2021 at UPMC Somerset.  Born March 14, 1945 in Somerset to the late Howard Clinton and Mary Ellen (Dunmeyer) Weimer.  Also Preceded in death by brother Charles Albert “Bud”, J.C., “Bob”, Howard “Jake”, Ray, infant brother Clyde, and sisters Melba Klink, and Hazel Brant.  Geraldine is survived by her children Lisa of Sevierville TN, son Charles Jr. of Somerset, daughter Jennifer Graham and husband Keith of Aliquippa Pa, son Shawn Ansell and wife Melissa of Somerset.  Grandchildren Ariel Ansell, Travis Murray, Angel Murray, Shawn Ansell Jr., and Skyelynne Murray.  She is also survived by sisters Mardail Baldwin and husband Oliver of Somerset, Wonda Hostetler and husband William of Loysburg, sister in-laws Shirley Brant of Somerset, Sandy Weimer of Somerset and Joann Weimer of Somerset.  Geraldine was a long time 4H leader in Geiger, a 1963 graduate of Somerset High School, and a retired Mailroom Supervisor at The Daily American.  Friends will be received Saturday from 9-11 AM in the ROBERT H. HALVERSON FUNERAL HOME where services will be Held at 11AM. With David McCall.
