Gladys E. Booher

Gladys E. Booher, 80, of Somerset, died October 21, 2019. Born December 23, 1938, in Friedens, she is the daughter of the late Elmer and Evelyn (Walker) Schrock. Also preceded in death by her husband Charles Booher, sister Hazel Gordon and husband Keith. Survived by children, Robert  Booher of Boswell, Carol Martin and husband Lloyd of Somerset, Oscar Booher and wife Tammy of Quecreek, Patricia Thompson and husband Gary of Cumberland and Christopher Booher of Quecreek.  Also numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Sister of, Ruby Trent of Somerset, Alice Kalp of Jones Mills, Peggy Miller of Friedens, Sandra Rugg of Somerset, Mary Jane Walker of Somerset, Ruth Knopsnyder of Rockwood and Harold Schrock of Somerset. Gladys was a member of the Somerset Alliance Church, a 1957 graduate of Shanksville High School and was a cool at the Summit Diner. She was active in her church and loved her family. The family would like to give a special thank you to Grane Hospice for the care they gave.  Friends will be received from 10 to 12 noon Thursday in the Somerset Alliance Church where services will immediately follow with Reverend Don Robson officiating. Interment in Mizpah Cemetery. Contributions may be made to Somerset Alliance Church,  708 Stoystown Rd., Somerset, PA 15501. Arrangements under the direction of the Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home.
