Goldie W, Beals

Goldie W. Beals 101, formerly of Somerset, died July 20, 2023 at Laurel View Village. Born May 16, 1922, in Altoona, she is the daughter of the late Percy D. and Nellie D. (Reighard) Beegle. Also preceded in death by her husband Walter G. Beals, son Jack, grandson Cooper Beals and 5 brothers and 2 sisters. She is survived by her son Walter Gregory Beals and wife Dawn of Naples, FL. Goldie was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. She was a graduate of Conemaugh School of Nursing and   received her BS in education from IUP. She was a RN at Somerset Community Hospital and a school nurse at  Conemaugh School District. Interment will be private. Arrangements under the direction of the ROBERT H. HALVERSON FUNERAL HOME.
