Gregory P. Shaffer

Gregory P. Shaffer, 65, of Somerset, died July 10, 2019 at UPMC Shadyside. Born February 8, 1954, in Somerset, he is the son of the late Fred E. and Myra E. (Shaffer) Shaffer.  Survived by his wife, Linda L. (Queer)  Shaffer, son Jeffrey Shaffer and wife Ashley of Somerset, brother, Douglas Shaffer and wife Beth of Somerset, niece Shannon Gronholm and husband Kris of Hagerstown, MD and great niece and nephew, Michael and Samantha Gronholm.  Greg was a member of Christ Casebeer Lutheran Church, employed by Galliker’s Dairy and was a 1972 graduate of Somerset Area High School. He was a loving husband and father. Friends will be received from 2-4 & 6-8 Saturday in the  Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home where services will be held at 1:30 PM Sunday with Reverend Will Foster officiating. Interment in Casebeer Cemetery.
