Harry Ivan Mickey

Harry Ivan Mickey, 93, of Somerset, died October 15, 2019 at In Touch Hospice House. Born May 22, 1926, in Alum Bank, he is the son of the late Clair and Ruth (Imler) Mickey. Also preceded in death by his wife, Catherine “Kate” (Tirko) Mickey.  Survived by children, Vernon Harry Mickey and wife Josette of Friedens and Bonnie  Gay Kimmel and husband David of Somerset. Also 3  grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Harry was a retired mechanic for the Rail Road and a veteran of WWII and Korea serving in the Navy and the Sea Bees. He enjoyed camping and attending local Blue Grass Festivals and attended the Somerset Church of the Nazarene. Graveside services and interment will be private. Contributions may be made to the Somerset Church of the Nazarene, 382 W. Union St., Somerset, PA 15501. Arrangements  under the direction of the Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home.
