Helen F. Weaver

Helen F. Weaver 95, of Somerset, died October 9, 2023 at Somerset Health & Rehabilitation. Born August 15, 1928, in Jefferson Twp., she is the daughter of the late Harry and Mary (Baldwin) Flick. Also preceded in death by sisters Eleanor Flick and Rose Snyder. Survived by step children Luther Weaver and wife Tacy of Somerset and Beatrice Showman and husband Gregory of Melbourne, FL. Grandchildren: Niki Shaffer and husband Amos, Zachery Weaver and wife Jennifer, Kyle Weaver and wife Sarah, Ryan Showman and wife Molly, Abigail Shiver            and husband Jon, Adriene Leclerc and husband  Troy. Great  grandchildren Eva, Eli, Cohen, Tucker, Abel, Waylon, and Ingrid.  Helen was a member of the Faith Lutheran Church, a graduate of Somerset High School and retired from GTE. Friends will be received from 10 – 11 am Thursday in the Robeert H. Halverson Funeral Home where services will immediately follow with Pastor Kathleen Stump officiating. Interment in Somerset County Memorial Park. Contributions may be made to Faith Lutheran Church, 6567 Glades Pike, Somerset, PA 15501, or the charity of the donors choice.
