Hilda Elizabeth Swindell

Hilda Elizabeth Swindell, 95, of Somerset, died August 29, 2019, at her residence. Born December 15, 1923, in Garrett, she is the daughter of the late Walter George and Margaret Dorothy (Tipton) Tressler. Also preceded in death by her husband, Frank Stanley Swindell, daughter, Geraldine Baer, brother, John Tressler and sisters, Catherine Nicklow and Betty Moore. She was the sixth generation of her family. Survived by children, Dorothy Scheffel and husband Paul of Somerset, Ronda Baker and husband Larry of Markleton, and Roxann Pletcher and husband Carl of Somerset. 9 Grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, 11 great great grandchildren and 3 great great great grandchildren.  Friends will be received from 12 to 3 pm Sunday in the Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home where services will immediately follow with Reverend Duane Riddle officiating. Interment in Highland Cemetery. Contributions may be made to Somerset Oncology Center, 314 S.
