Jacqueline M. (Winters) Brougher 90, Jennerstown, died November 12, 2020 at Meadow View Nursing Center. Born February 28, 1930, in Boswell. Daughter of Melvin and Marian Winters. Preceded in death by parents, husband of 68 years Edward “Bud” Brougher on October 29, 2012; brother Pat and sister Betty Gaydos; children son Edward and daughter Valerie. Survived by daughter Betty Sue married to William Johnston of Berlin. Grandchildren; Jeff married to Megan Murray; Krissy (Murray) married to Mike Mihalik; Kathy (Murray) married to Blake Kryspin; Tom Johnston and girlfriend Katie; great –grandchildren Reece, Haden and Davis Murray, Sydney and Conner Mihalik and Logan and Mason Kryspin. Nieces Karen Frantz and husband Greg, Kristen and nephews Brad Winters and wife Amy and Partick and many cousins. A graduate of Somerset High School. Member of Laurel Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Jennerstown. Jackie and Bud loved working at the Somerset Masonic Temple where they helped to serve many banquets. Jackie was a Past Matron and past Deputy Grand Matron and served 71 years as a member of Trinity Chapter #138 Order of the Eastern Star. Jackie worked at JC Penny’s in Somerset, Jenner Cross Roads School teacher aide and as a supervisor for the Jennerstown Sewer Authority. Her bubbly personality and knowledge of Somerset County will be missed by all who knew her. Friends will be received from 6 – 8 Sunday in the Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home where services will be held at 10 am Monday with Reverend Will Foster officiating. Interment in Somerset County Memorial Park.
