James B. Beggs

James B. Beggs, 94 of Somerset went to be with the Lord March 24, 2022.  Born April 16, 1927, in Greensburg, son of the late Carl Beggs    and Elsie (Rock) Beggs Webreck.  He is also preceded in death by his siblings Donald Beggs, Calvin Beggs, and Romayne DePhillips.  Survived by his wife of 67 years Betty (Kisner) Beggs, children Deborah Wagner (Raymond) of Somerset, Diana Sanner (Tim) of Rockwood, James Beggs (Marcy) of Somerset, David Beggs (late Garnetta) of Somerset, and Jeffery Beggs (Tami) of Listie.  Grandchildren Nicholas, Daniel, Dakota, Jennifer, Joshua, Christopher, Valerie, Jessica, Gregory, Amber, and Cati.  Great grandchildren Hannah, Chelsea, Abby, and Cooper.  James was a Navy WWII Veteran and a retired cabinet maker. He loved woodworking.  Friends will be received from 2-4, 6-8 Sunday in the Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home where the service will be held Monday at 11am with Reverend Don Robson officiating.  Internment in Somerset County Memorial Park.  Contributions can be made to the Somerset Alliance Church, 708 Stoystown Rd.
