James R. Ogline

James R. Ogline 91, of Friedens, died December 28, 2024 at UPMC Somerset. Born April 11, 1933 in Somerset he is the son of the late Lloyd Richard and Hazel Fern (Fisher) Ogline. Also preceded in death by his wife Marilyn R. (Livengood) Ogline, brothers Dean and Phillip and brother-in-law Dwight Sheeler. Survived by children: Kimberly Shaffer and husband Gary of Johnstown, Fred Ogline, Jeffrey Ogline and Sally Berkey and husband Tony all of Friedens. Grandchildren: Amanda and husband Eric, Lindsey and husband Josh and Jamie. Great grandchildren: Samuel, Nolan, Alexander, Preston, Jackson, Quincy and Taylor. Brother of: Dorothy Sheeler of Somerset, Jerry Ogline and wife Barb of Carlisle, PA and sisters-in-law Shirley Ogline of Somerset and Linda Ogline of Columbia, PA and Brother-in-law David Livengood and wife Vickie. Jim was a member of the Global Methodist Church. He loved working his dairy farm, gardening, music, dancing and was a big John Deere fan. He also enjoyed spending time with his family.
