James Ream Obituary

James E. Ream 85, of Somerset, died April 3, 2022. Born December 18, 1936, in Somerset, he is the son of the late Lena Saylor. Also preceded in death by a brother Robert McClain. Survived by his wife of 63 years, Shelby (Martin) Ream, children; Dennis Ream and wife Robin of Stoystown, Jeff Ream of Somerset and Dan Ream and wife Melissa of Listie. Grandchildren: Eric Soha, Angie (Aron) Chonko and Lori (Jonathan) Ramey. Great grandchildren: Ariston Chonko, Finley Chonko and Laila Ramey. Siblings; Marlene Kramer, Marchia Ann Barchey and sister-in-law Toni McClain. Jim was a member of the Faith Lutheran Church, retired from Gilmour Manufacturing, a 1956 graduate of Somerset High School and a lifetime member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles. There will be no service at this time. Contributions may be made to Faith Lutheran Church, 6567 Glades Pike, Somerset, PA 15501. Arrangements under the direction of the ROBERT H.
