Jay Henry Seifert

Jay Henry Seifert 88 of Mt. Pleasant passed away Dec 4, 2023 at home.  He was born May 27, 1935 to the late Kenneth and Mary (Miler) Seifert.  Also preceded in death by his wife Gloria (Burton), daughter Robbin Tataliba, daughter in law Donna Seifert, brothers Don Edmonson, Kenneth, William, and Jim Seifert, sisters Thelma Parham, Shirley Smith, and half-brother Gregory Seifert.  Jay was survived by children Cathey and Johnny Wyant of Mt Pleasant, Thomas and Roseann Seifert of Somerset, Kevin and Amy Seifert of Somerset, Christopher Seifert of Somerset, Kelly Seifert of Windber, Teresa Seifert of Sunbury, 16 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, 4 great- great grandchildren, Siblings Barb Roby of Salisbury, Sara Lindeman of Ephrata, half-sister Kay Walter of Somerset and half-brother Roger Seifert of Quecreek. Jay was a member of the Moose Lodge 1641 Cresent City, FL, a square dancer, and he also loved to sing.  Friends will be received Thursday from 6-8 PM in the ROBERT H. HALVERSON FUNERAL HOME where services will be held Friday at 10 AM with Pastor Jason Upton officiating.  Interment will be at Westminster Cemetery.
