Joann Marie Lantz

Joann Marie Lantz, 40, of Clearfield, passed away September 26, 2022. Born July 24, 1982, in Somerset, she is the daughter of the late James Lantz and Joyce (Miller) Lantz of Somerset. Besides her mother she is survived by her sister Judy Lantz of Somerset, brother James Lantz Jr. (Lindsey Ohler) of Somerset. Joann was a resident of a group home in Clearfield where she enjoyed spending time with her nurse Holly and team leader Kerry. They were her “Buddies”. Joann enjoyed her special trips to the store for her sweet teas, she loved listening to music by Ray Charles and Reba McEntire, even doing a pageant where she sang her favorite Reba song “I’m a Survivor”. Joann enjoyed the simple things in life and that’s what made her so special. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends. A viewing will be held Friday from 2-4 & 6-8 Friday in the Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home where services will be held at 11 am Saturday with Pastor Stephen Onstead officiating. Interment in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
