John G. Slope

John G. Slope, 72, of Somerset, died November 26, 2020 at his residence. Born January 14, 1948, in Somerset he is the son of the late Steve and Dorothy (Lantz) Slope. Also preceded in death by his wife, Shirley, grand daughter Mae Slope, sisters Carol  and Dorothy and brothers Charles and James and two infant brothers. Survived by children, Jennifer Emerick and Marilyn Slope both of Somerset and three grandchildren, Shawn Mishler, Julia Emerick and Braden Emerick. Brother of Harry Slope and wife Rose, Joseph Slope and wife Kay, Paul Slope and wife Peggy, Jack Slope and Martha Zeigler and husband Mike. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.  A graveside memorial service will be held in the Highland Cemetery at a later date.
