Karl E. (Beetle Bailey) Bailey

BEETLE BAILEY HAS CROAKED. Karl E. Bailey 75 of Acosta, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family on July 15, 2026 at his residence. Born December 6, 1950 in Somerset, he is the son of the late Ralph and Agnes (Caldwell) Bailey of Friedens. Also preceded in death by a sister Donna Lee Yoder. Survived by wife, Buddy-O and partner of 35 years Dinah Jerin (Dee), son Karl J. Bailey (Jackie) of Acosta, daughters Angela, Catherine (Gary) Eia, Desiree (Rico) and Belinda Bailey, and bonus daughter Laura (Jim) Schiffenhauser. 19 Grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren and lots of extended family and friends. Also his two beloved white poodles China and Honey. Beetle was a mechanic and loved working on classic cars, going to car shows and hunting, fishing and flea markets.
