Kenneth V. Trent

Kenneth V. Trent Sr. 94, of Somerset, died May 22, 2019 at Siemon’s Heritage.  Born July 31, 1924 in Friedens, he is the son of the late Morris and Sarah (Day) Trent.  Also preceded in death by his wife, Katherine J. (Thomas) Trent, son Kenneth V. Trent Jr., grandson Jamie O’Leary, sisters Mary, Gladys, Dora and Vietta and brothers. Walter,  Clyde, Frank and Jack. Survived by daughter, Jane A. O’Leary of Madison, OH.  Grandchildren: Douglas Trent,  Katherine Brandt and Colleen O’Leary .Brothers Eddie Trent of Michigan and Bill Trent of Beaver. Ken was a member of the First Christian Church, American Legion, VFW, Somerset County Honor Guard and the Cooties. He was a Navy Veteran of WW II. Friends will be received from 10 to 11 am   Saturday in the Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home, where services will immediately follow with Pastor Shae Frazier officiating.
