Lauretta Jean (Baldwin) Williams, 84 of Somerset, went to be with the Lord on November 9, 2022. Born February 24, 1938 in Somerset, she is the daughter of the late Ray and Anna (Stahl) Baldwin. Also preceded in death by her husband William D. (Bill) Williams, sisters Madeline (Baldwin) Musselman, and Mary Jane Baldwin. Survived by children Deborah “Debbie” (Williams) Kowatch married to Lawrence “Larry” Kowatch, Pamela “Pam” (Williams) Hottle married to David “Dave” Hottle and William “Bill” Williams married to Michelle (Torrey) Williams. Grandchildren, Jennifer “Jenny” Kowatch, Jonathan “Jon” Hottle and wife Jessica (Vaughn) Hottle, Julianna “Julie” (Kowatch) Rosenbaum married to Aaron Rosenbaum, Jacob Hottle, step granddaughter Brandi Lampack, step great grandchildren Natasha, Rebecca, Lilith, Persephone and Blayden, brother Oliver and wife Marty (Weimer) Baldwin of Somerset. Lauretta worked at Hidden Valley, The GM Assembly Plant in Warren Ohio, Oakhurst, and D&B where she and husband Bill partnered for 50 years with lifelong friends Dean and Doris Murray. She also worked with book keeping and tax services for over 50 years with dear friends Emma Barron, Diane Sarver, and Irma Walker. Lauretta also worked as a poll worker helping with the elections. She was honored with a certificate for consecutive voting at a banquet attended by Commissioners and State Officials. She was a member of the Mt. Zion Lutheran Church and Listie Grace Brethren Church where she was a Sunday School Teacher for over 30 years. Lauretta was well known for her gentle, sweet, kind, compassionate, and precious nature. She helped so many people in so many ways. She always took care of others. She is reunited and enjoying Heaven with her loving husband of 65 years who passed in June of this year. Our family and friends will miss them both so much; however, we do not wish them back, they are together, happy, and perfected in Jesus their Saviour, reunited with family and friends in the land of no more tears. Friends received from 2-4, 6-8 Sunday and 1-2 Monday in the ROBERT H. HALVERSON FUNERAL HOME where services will be held at 2:00 PM with Reverend Christopher Knight officiating.
