Lucas Barron Obituary

Lucas Barron 41, of Somerset, died December 11, 2020 in Pittsburgh. Born April 21, 1979 he is the son of Eugene and Bonnie (Ream) Barron.  Also survived by son Austin Barron and friend Tonya Turner, brother and sister; Jason Barron and fiancé Lori Costae, and Becky Barron.  Nephews  Tyler and Carter and nieces Alyssa and Cheyenne.   Lucas was a 1997 graduate of Somerset High School and a 1999 graduate of Triangle Tech. He worked for New Enterprise as a foreman and was currently employed by the PA Turnpike as a Senior Construction Inspector for the past 9 years..  His hobbies included hunting, fishing and trapping, tractor pulling and rebuilding old tractors and trucks and woodworking. He was an active lifetime member of New Centerville & Rural Fire Department and worked at the Jubilee saw mill. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge # 554 Meyersdale, New Baltimore Sportsman Club and the Mountain Field and Stream Club, Somerset FFA, 4H Steaks & Chops Club and Samuels Lutheran Church.  Services and interment will be private. A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Samuel's Lutheran Church, c/o Pam Weimer, 703 Mountain View Rd., Somerset, PA 15501 or New Centerville Volunteer Fire Dept., 3054 Kingwood Rd., Rockwood, PA 15557.
