M. J. Swank

Miller J. “MJ” Swank 58 of Lavansville died January 14, 2025 in Pittsburgh. Born July 23, 1966 in Somerset, he is the son of the late Richard S. and Lois J. (Snyder) Swank. Also preceded in death by a sister Sharon Louise. Survived by a brother Roger Swank and wife Judith of York. MJ was a member of the Laurel Ridge Sportsman, New Baltimore Sportsman, Laurel Highlands Mountain Men, VFW and Eagles. Life member of the Trent, Bakersville and Lavansville Rod & Gun Club. Friends will be received from 4-8 Saturday in the Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home where services will be held at 2 pm Sunday with Reverend Dane Cramer officiating.  Interment in Lavansville Cemetery. Condolences may be made at www.halversonfuneralhome.com.
