Marilyn R. Ogline 87, of Friedens, died November 16, 2024 at Patriot Village. Born May 16, 1937, in Somerset, she is the daughter of the late Samuel Oscar and Hazel (Lambert) Livengood. Also preceded in death by a sister Sandra Miller. Survived by husband James R. Ogline, children: Sally Berkey and husband Tony of Friedens, Kimberly Shaffer and husband Gary of Johnstown, Jeffrey Ogline of Friedens and Fred Ogline of Friedens. Grandchildren: Amanda & husband Eric, Lindsey & husband Josh and Jamie. Great grandchildren: Samuel, Nolan, Alexander, Preston, Jackson, Quincy and Taylor. Also survived by a brother David Livengood and wife Vicki of Somerset. Marilyn was a member of the Global Methodist Church, the Beulah Kitchen Band and the Somerset County Farm Women. She enjoyed knitting, quilting, reading, word searching and spending time with family and friends. Friends will be received from 10 to 12 noon Wednesday in the Global Methodist Church, formerly Beulah Methodist Church, where services will immediately follow with Pastor Thomas Brown officiating. Interment in Beulah Cemetery. Contributions may be made to Global Methodist Church, 433 Bicycle Rd. Friedens, PA 15541 or Laurel Highland Hospice, 970 Franklin St., Johnstown, PA 15905.
