Martha E. Walker

Martha E. (Jacobs) Walker 93, of Somerset, died July 6, 2025 at Patriot Senior Living. Born June 15, 1932 in Lincoln twp. She is the daughter of the late Abert F. and Minnie (Wetzel) Jacobs. Also preceded in death by her husband James P. (Phil) Walker to whom she married November 27, 1953, brothers Frederick, James andJohn Jacobs and sister Grace Carey. Survived by a daughter Marcia and husband Wade Walker of Somerset, grandchildren Clay Walker and wife Michele of Somerset and Drew Walker and wife Morgan of Ligonier. Great grandchildren Jace, Jaxon, Briar and Ember. Martha was a former member of Casebeer Lutheran Church and a member of St. Paul’s United Church of Christ. She was a graduate of Somerset High School class of 1951, loved to quilt, sew and make scrubbies and was well known for making homemade caramels at Christmas time. Friends will be received from 2-4 & 6-8 Monday in the Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home and from 10 - 11 am Tuesday  in the Casebeer Lutheran Church where services will immediately follow with Pastor Allen Stump officiating. Interment in Casebeer Cemetery.
