Mary Ann Sorber

Mary Ann Sorber, 78 of Somerset, died October 25, 2022 at UPMC Somerset. Born December 30, 1943, in Somerset, she is the daughter of the late William C. and Mary (Knepper) James Jr.  Also preceded in death by her husband Wilson A. Sorber, brothers in law Samuel Sorber, Red Harrington, and sister in law Jackie Cambell (Bob).  Survived by a daughter Stacy Sorber of Somerset, brother Milton James (Connie) of Fontana Ca, sisters in law LuAnn Harrington, Jean Sorber, Kay Martin (Harry), and a number of nieces, nephews, dog Brody, and many friends. Mary Ann was the owner of Double S Tack Shop.  She was a long time 4-H leader and Honorary member of the Somerset County Fair board.  She belonged to the Somerset Saddle Club and Corgi Nation.  Friends received from 2-4, 6-8 Friday in the ROBERT H. HALVERSON FUNERAL HOME where services will be held at 11AM Saturday with Reverend Dave McCall officiating. Interment in Somerset County Memorial Park.
