Melvin Custer

Melvin Custer 90, of Friedens, died December 12, 2020 at UPMC Somerset. Born January 26,1930, in Stoystown he is the son of the late Pearson W. and Alverda (Schultz) Custer. Also preceded in death by his wife, Ruth V. (Maust) Custer, and a brother Jay Custer. Survived by son Jeffrey Custer of Friedens,  step grandson Allan Lepley and step great grandchildren, Nicholas,Lauran Lepley.  Sisters Sharon Will  and Sally Redman. Also survived by longtime friend Edith Kimmel. A graveside service will be held at 10:30 am Tuesday in Somerset County Memorial Park with Reverend Donald Krestar  officiating.
