Mildred L. Landsman 78, of Somerset, went to heaven on February 13, 2018 at In Touch Hospice House. Born September 1, 1939, in Listie, she is the daughter of the late William and Florence (Dayton) Tirko. Also preceded in death by her husband, Dale Edward Landsman, brothers: William Jr., John, Pete, George and Charles Tirko. Sisters: Mary Bell, Almeda Shaffer, Ann Shaffer, Ida Mae Romesburg, Julia Sellers, Catherine Mickey, Elizabeth Derencin and Helen Faye. Survived by step children: Gary Brantley of Freehold, NJ and Cynthia Weir of Stoystown, PA. Grandchildren: Jessica Lopez, Matthew Brantley, Dustin, Tyson and Korie Weir and a great grandchild Emma Rose Brantley. Sister of: Ella Mae Rubis, Sally Reese, Joseph Tirko, Rachel Townson and Shirley Drake. Mildred was a member of the Someret Church of the Nazarene and the Widows, Divorced and Singles Organization (WDS). She was a retired operator for GTE and was active with Relay for Life. Friends will be received from 4 -7 pm Thursday in the Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home also from 10 to the time of service which will be held at 11 am Friday with Reverend Dale Stotler officiating.
