Miriam Isabella Kalina

Miriam Isabella Kalina, 81, of Boswell, died February 23, 2019, at home, after a long courageous battle with lymphoma. Born February 28, 1937, in Johnstown, she is the daughter of the late Miriam I. (Parish) Taylor. Also preceded in death by a grandson Eric Frampton and a great grandson Carson Beahr and a  brother William Taylor . Survived by her husband, of 65 years, Robert D. Kalina Sr. and these children:  Robert D. Kalina Jr. and wife Bonnie,  Dorothy Hershberger, Brian Kalina and wife Lori, Ronald Kalina and wife Kim,  Darlene Frampton, Lisa Witt and husband Mark and Lori Friedline and husband Jeff.  Also  14 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren and a sister Mary Deluca of Johnstown and several nieces and nephews and their families. At her request, there will be no viewing. A memorial service will be held Sunday at 2 pm, March 3, 2019, at Laurel Trinity Lutheran Church, Jennerstown with Reverend William Foster officiating. .
