Mona L. Schmid

Mona L. Schmid 69, of Somerset, died October 29, 2021 at her residence. Born July 16, 1952, in Somerset, she is the daughter of the late Orlo and Ester (Hoover) Pletcher. Also preceded in death by sisters, Mary Knopsnyder and Wanda Judy and brother Sanford  Pletcher. Survived by husband Chris Schmid, children; Lisa Anderson and husband Gregory of Somerset and James King and wife Julie of Rockwood. Grandchildren; Jacob and Faith Robertson, Allison, Adam, Nathan and Luke King. Great grandchildren; Colin, Kari and Chad and a brother Orlo Pletcher Jr. of Rockwood. Mona was a retired nurse and a member of the Abundant Life Church. Friends will be received from 11 am to 1 pm Tuesday in the ROBERT H.
